Games with Pizazz…

09 Sep

One of the coolest things about having local hobby/craft stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc is that you can pick up some items to “Pimp” up your board game.  Have you ever had a game and wished it had something different for a token/pawn etc?  If you have never thought of “Pimping” up your game, you may want to think about it and give it a go.

I’ve also seen games where people have bought other games at garage sales or thrift stores and used parts out of them for making other games look like a work of art.

Recently while playing RA, my friend Alton had a few pieces that really made his game stand out even more.  He had a Sphinx, and Three Pyramids.  The Pyramids had counters on them which I thought was cool to track the number of the epoch you were currently on.  The Sphinx sat on the game board and did nothing except make that board look that much cooler!

I’m hoping you will share what you have done to “Pimp” up your game.
